What is a Panel Interface Connector?

GracePort® Panel Interface Connectors (also known as Programming Ports) mount to the exterior of Industrial Control Panels, providing safe, convenient access to PLCs and control devices without opening the enclosure.

By bringing component connections to the outside of the cabinet, thru-door interface technology allows technicians to program and troubleshoot equipment faster while remaining safe from electrical hazards like arc flash.

Key Features & Customization

Components: Choose from over 300 component options and configurations (including RJ45, USB, and Ethernet switches). Component selections are organized alphanumerically, and multiple identical components can be specified using a quantity identifier (#).

Housing Sizes & UL Ratings: Available in UL Type 1, 3R, 4, 4X, and 12 enclosures. Additional options include stainless steel, surface mount IP65, hazardous location, and low-profile housings.

Power Options: Select from a wide variety of domestic (simplex, duplex, GFCI) and international power outlets, or opt for no outlet.

Circuit Breakers: Choose integrated circuit breakers with amperage ratings ranging from 3A to 20A.

Special Customizations: With over 16,000 unique combinations, GracePorts® can be fully tailored with custom text, precise cut-out sizes, specific cable lengths, and your company logo. All GracePorts® are assembled in the USA.

GracePort® Inside-Outlet®

The GracePort® Inside-Outlet® features three GFCI-protected receptacles: two on the outside and one on the inside of the panel. This design offers a seamless path toward NFPA 79 compliance, which requires all externally mounted utility receptacles to be GFCI-protected and testable monthly.
