Splice Trays
Splice trays are designed to hold individual or mass fusion spliced fibers. They're compact, lightweight, and available in a variety of splice holding chips and cover options.
PLP offers user-friendly COYOTE and FIBERLIGN splice trays. These trays provide ample room for storing fiber and allow for a generous bend radius designed to assure long term optical performance.
Fiber Closures
Whether your fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network has closures in a buried or aerial environment, one thing remains the same: you need assured environmental protection and quick; incremental subscriber drops. PLP knows that not all closures are the same.
Preformed Line Products closures are created with UV inhibitors that protect the enclosure from sun degradation and color shifts. Entrance and exit grommets are also included to help keep the enclosure free from insects.
Copper Closures and Plug Accessories
PLP Copper Closures are designed for splicing of copper wires in different applications.
Offerings include the Ranger SERVISEAL and Super SERVISEAL Closures. Both options provide long-term protection for buried service wire splices, but the Super SERVISEAL is able to accommodate splices up to 12 pairs, whereas the Ranger SERVISEAL can accommodate up to 6 pairs.
